TEXTILE OILS

HP KNITTIN OIL
TEXTILE-OIL
Special Features
Now-a-days grey knitted goods meant for dark shades are only subjected to mild water wash/
scouring. Mostly, these goods are boiled at 60 ºC along with non-ionic detergent. Alkali scouring is
not carried out. After water washing the grey goods are directly taken for dyeing. However, the
knitting oil stains from the grey knitted goods has to be removed prior to dyeing. Similarly dyed knits
are also processed mildly; normally, washed in running water along with non-ionic detergent to
prevent the dyes of the pre dyed yarn from bleeding and spoiling of the fabric completely.
Against the above backdrop the development of > 98% water washable knitting oil is beneficial to the
Indian Knitting industry. HP KNITTING OIL is the oil developed to meet the requirement of the
knitting industry.
Knitting oils with acceptable water wash ability along with adequate lubricant and anti wear
properties are not available in the Indian market. Some oils are claimed water white but have poor
anti wear properties and do not have good wash ability. Some register positive copper corrosion and
rust test giving rise to abnormal needle wear. In trials conducted in Southern India in circular
knitting machines from Korea HP KNITTING OIL (ISO VG 22 Grade) showed improved performance as
compared to competitors.
