QUALITY ASSURANCE AND SERVICES
For ensuring quality of products marketed, HPCL has established 46 laboratories across the country. These labs are equipped with state-of-the-art equipement, well-trained manpower and certifications/accreditations in the field of testing. These labs are supporting various SBU's like Retail, Aviation, Lubes, Direct sales, O & D etc. HPCL labs have capability of testing products like MS, HSD, SKO, FO, LDO, ATF as per BIS specifications. HPCL is operating the only laboratory which is approved by BIS for certifying Biodiesel.
OUR OFFERINGS
TESTING
HPCL offers testing services on chargeable basis. The scope covers full specification testing of various petroleum products. The details can be obtained on case to case basis.
PROFICIENCY TESTING
HPCL as PT provider has conducted PT programs converging all BIS parameters for various petro products. Benefits incl. access to PT schemes accredited under ISO/IEC 17043:2010
CRM
CERTIFIED REFERENCE MATERIALS
CRMs are produced as per ISO 17034:2016 protocol and are traceable to SI system thru NIST Standards. These are available for despatch in minimum time with optimum pack sizes. All data is generated exclusively by ISO 17025 accredited lab.
NMI STANDARDS
HPCL, jointly with CSIR-NPL (National Measurement Institute of India) has developed primary reference standards for use in the field of petroleum.
