HP Racer has a variety of Lubricants for motorbikes and scooters, and is equipped to perform in all types of weather conditions. HP Lubricants is after all, the No 1 in Lubricants.
CSP Technology
CSP Technology stands for Clutch Slip Prevention Technology. Due to the size and weight constraints in bikes, the engine oil used in most bikes lubricates the bike engine, the wet clutch and the transmission system (gears) of the bike. This is unlike other vehicles where the engine and gear oils are different with different lubrication systems.HP Racer has a variety of Lubricants for motorbikes and scooters, and is equipped to perform in all types of weather conditions. HP Lubricants is after all, the No 1 in Lubricants.
This difference of the lubrication requirement of bikes makes it important for the bike engine oil to function not only as a good engine oil but also as good wet clutch release as well as transmission and gear oil. This requires a fine balancing of the additive chemistry of the oil formulation so as to perform well in the different lubrication zones which may require features conflicting with each other.
CSP Technology enables easy release of wet clutch which facilitates a smooth gear change. This in turn leads to better engine power and also leads to a smooth ride for both the driver and pillion rider.

How to choose the right engine oil?
- The grade, which are listed as e.g., 20W50, or 5W30 denote the viscosity, or the capability of a liquid to flow. Depending on the geography, climate and the length of the ride you can decide the grade the of the oil you need.
- You should keep the same oil as directed by the brand for the first 15,000 kms.
- Climate and ride quality also affect the choice of the oil. If you are riding in adverse temparatures and with higher revs, you need a specific grade of oil. This maintains adequate viscosity and protects the engine. Humid and dusty conditions also affect engine performance.
- The grade of the engine oil needs to be selected based on the bike make and model.
