CYNDOL GRADES
SPINDLE OILS
Meets specifications:
The grades meet IPSS 1-09-010
Application areas:
CYNDOL grades are eminently suitable for cylinder lubrication of steam engines using highly super heated steam. They grades are also widely used in large slow moving industrial gears and plain bearings. The TC grades are recommended for steam engines operating under wet saturated steam conditions. These are also used in calender bearings and sugar mill roller bearings.
They are especially suitable for the lubrication of worm gears.
CYNDOL 1000 and 1500 are also used as tempering and wire drawing applications with satisfactory results.

Performance benefits:
- Excellent oiliness and film strength
- High viscosity index
- Suitable for use in wet and saturated steam engines
- Resists the washing effect of moisture in steam engine cylinders
Special Features
CYNDOL grades are recommended for cylinder lubrication of steam engines. They are formulated from specially treated high viscosity index, heavy viscosity base stocks having enhanced lubricating properties and thermal stability. They have excellent oiliness and film strength characteristic, maximum resistance to washing effect of moisture and excellent load carrying ability. CYNDOL TC grades are compounded with special fatty oil and contain adhesive agent.
