SUGAR MILL LUBRICANT
HYTAK 500 NB-1000 is semi-synthetic type viscous oil. The very high kinematic viscosity results in formation of thicker Elasto Hydrodynamic Lubrication (EHL) Film. This very high viscosity film, which is clear in appearance protects against the big forces on the bearings on the sugar mill cylinders. The stability, thickness and adhesiveness of the film separates the moving parts; resisting water washing, avoiding the incoming of water, juice and minute cane fibers. HYTAK 500 NB (1000) is suitable for use at component temperatures up to 120°C.
The advanced extreme pressure additives package, results in reduction of temperature; thereby improving system efficiency. HYTAK 500 NB product is clear, and free from solids, heavy metals, diluents like chlorinated solvents or any toxic compound. It eliminates the black oils with asphaltene and carcinogenic effects and the black greases in the sugar industry. The product is free from harmful Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds (DMSO Extractables < 3% wt). The black oils and black greases used in most mills typically have high content of PCA which is harmful. Compared to the lubrication with Lithium-graphite/Lithium Complex MoS2-Graphite/ Aluminum Soap Graphite greases, it increases the lubrication reliability because it avoids the blockages in the tubing that usually happens by the separation of grease-metallic soap-graphite-MoS2 particles, which is typical of this type of products when they work under pressure by the centralized pump system. HYTAK 500 NB can be applied through immersion, paddle wheel, circulation and spray lubrication of mill bearings and large girth gear drives.

- The effluent volume can be reduced in relation with bituminous lubricant, and also compared with lithium graphite /clay-graphite-MoS2 greases.
